Join us for a three-day adventure through the stunning alpine landscapes of Medicine Bow National Forest, just north of the Colorado border. This experience begins with a convoy departure from Overland Expo Mountain West in Loveland, then heads into the high country for a weekend of exploration, community, and skill-building.
This 2026 expedition follows the spirit of last year’s trip, with a refreshed route and new stops woven into the classic Medicine Bow highlights. Expect mountain lakes, sweeping vistas, rugged forest roads, quiet meadows, and plenty of time to slow down and connect.
As always, this Fernweh experience centers on Community, Confidence and Connection, the foundation of all our adventures.
Meals
A professional chef will prepare breakfast & dinner each day, creating a warm, flavorful, community-focused experience at camp.
Lunches are on your own, allowing flexibility while exploring the forest.
