Montana Adventure + Under the Big Sky Festival

In July 2026, Fernweh is heading to Montana for a unique two-weekend experience that blends overlanding, community, trail exploration, and one of the most iconic summer music festivals.
The adventure begins at the XOVERLAND Ranch during The Big Thing, one of the premier gatherings in the overlanding and vehicle-based travel world. From there, we’ll embark on a multi-day trail ride north toward Whitefish, traveling through remote terrain, mountain passes, and classic Montana backcountry.

The journey concludes the following weekend at the Under the Big Sky Music Festival, where we plan to gather as a community at a private group campsite (currently being finalized) exclusively for Fernweh participants.

This experience is built around Community, Confidence, and Connection, the heart of every Fernweh adventure.
